On Sunday 6th November 2022, the 22nd Riders (Cheshire Regiment) attended the war memoral to donate £250 to the Parish Council towards the cost of the memorial repairs. Also present were veterans of the Cheshire Regiment, The Church of England and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
